Also included in my portfolio are examples of photographs taken with a DSLR camera or Samsung S21 phone. Though I am primarily looking for work based on my ability to write or teach, I wanted to highlight my camera skills. I have also taught photography concepts, as well as audio recording and video collection/editing techniques, at the collegiate level. You will find in these examples that I have a good sense of proper lighting, framing, content and additional concepts like rule-of-thirds. Communication is so much more than just writing and speaking - it is important to acknowledge my ability to visually communicate through photographs and understanding the communicative power of quality photography.
